"Wonderful stay"

This was our favorite B&B. We absolutely loved the owner, Mavis and her husband, who were so sweet & sincere. We enjoyed the farm, the animals, and the rustic setting. We would love to go back. Also, delicious breakfast and backed goods upon arrival!

"I loved it!"

Coolmore is off the beaten path and that is one of the things I loved about it. It was fun staying on a working farm and they truly made me feel welcome and treated me like family. I felt so comfortable there and was very sad to leave. Definitely a home away from home.

We loved Coolmore Farmhouse. The setting was lovely. The hosts were extremely friendly - even to the point of allowing my husband to view their dairy barn and visit while they were milking. The breakfast was excellent and we would love to go back. We love that we felt like "one of the family."

Lovely place to stay. Stayed 2 nights. Mavis was delightful to visit with. She welcomed us with tea and home made cake. We were the only couple there. We saw the working farm - they have 70 cows and their own chickens where the get fresh eggs every morning. Great breakfast.

Fantastic BB in a wonderful location close to Kilkenny. Very courteous and friendly hosts who were happy to show us around the dairy farm when the cows were being milked in the morning. Clean and inviting rooms and a beautiful fresh breakfast. Also very close to a wonderful pub in the local town that has great meals for great prices. Would definitely return and recommend to others.
